About the Mother And Child design

The mother bends her head so her lips rest on the baby's brow, and a single flick of eyelash marks her closed eye. Her hair falls to the shoulder in loose curls that flip outward at the ends. One arm sweeps down and back up in a deep V, cradling a round-headed baby whose tiny hand lifts toward its chin. A thin white seam runs along the inside of that arm, marking where the baby ends and the mother begins.
