About the Octagon Window design

The outer frame is itself an octagon, and a plain white octagon opens in its middle with no bars crossing it. Eight smaller cells ring that opening, each holding a four-lobed clover outline split by a cross of straight bars. The cells at top, bottom and sides are sliced flat by the frame, and small square grids link them to the center. Along the four slanted edges, broad white triangles open where the lattice pulls away from the border.
