About the Circus Tent design

The roof rises in two concave sweeps to a needle-sharp peak, and it spreads wider than the walls below, so the whole tent sits on shoulders it seems too narrow for. A band of scallops runs under the eaves, four half-circles bitten out of a solid strip like the edge of a paper doily. Below that, four curtain panels hang with their hems flaring outward, each one cinched slightly at the top.
