About the Cloud Down Arrow design

The cloud is drawn as one even band, and its crown breaks open at the center to let the arrow's stem pass through, so that stem doubles as the cloud's own rim for a stretch. The shaft drops straight down and ends in a blunt chevron whose tip stops well short of the bottom, hanging clear in the open middle. The base itself runs almost dead flat between two rounded ends, like the underside of a cloud pressed against glass.
