About the Double Bed design

Two pillow shapes sit side by side at the top, rounded across their upper corners and cut square at the bottom, their inner curves dipping into a narrow V where they meet at the center. A thick bar runs beneath both and spans the full width, and under it the mattress opens into one long rectangle. The frame drops to a short leg at each end, both cut off flat on the same line with no foot on either.
