About the Emergency Star design

Three bars cross at one point and spread six arms from a solid center. The upright runs the full height and finishes square at both ends, while the four slanted arms end on angled cuts that leave each tip a blunt parallelogram. Those diagonals stop short of the upright's reach, stretching the shape taller than it is wide. The gaps between the arms taper to sharp points at the crossing, six thin wedges biting in toward the middle.
