About the House design

Every line here holds one width, from the sharp apex down the roof slopes to the walls and along the base. The roof takes nearly half the height and comes to a point with no overhang at all, the slopes running straight into the wall corners. Inside, a doorway is drawn as a squared band standing on the bottom edge, its own two legs dropping past that base line so the opening runs right off the bottom of the steel.
