About the Picket Fence design

Zigzag runs along the top, three peaks with deep V cuts dropping between them, and the same point repeats in miniature over each opening in the upper row. Two rails cross the whole width and run out past the outer posts at each end, stopping blunt with nothing beyond to meet. Below them the openings turn plain rectangles, and the bottom closes as one solid strip of steel.
