About the Thick Glasses design

Steel is heaviest along the brow, where one long bar runs nearly level from corner to corner and dips into a tiny notch at the bridge. Below that the rims thin as they curve under, so each lens opening ends up a rounded square with a slightly upswept outer corner. The bar's ends stop in blunt square tabs where arms would begin, and nothing extends past them.
