About the Wine Glass design

The bowl holds two openings, a plain square-cornered rectangle up top and, under a thick band of steel, a half disc with a dead flat top and a perfectly round underside, the shape of a sun going down. Outside, the bowl runs straight down before rounding off, so the steel widens through the turn and thins along the straight sides. The stem drops narrow and dead straight to a flat foot that is just a bar, no spread and no curve at all.
