Celtic Braided Rope Ring Metal Sign

About the Braided Rope Ring design

Thin white lines slant across a heavy black band, splitting it into short lozenge-shaped strands that all lean the same way as they travel around the circle. Each strand swells slightly at the rim, so both the inner and outer edges ripple with small, even scallops instead of running smooth. Near the top the lines cross in tight X shapes where the strands seem to pass over one another. The band stays narrow against the wide open center, which takes up most of the sign.
