About the Art Nouveau Number 5 design
Five versions of this numeral share a deep round belly that takes up well over half the height, while the flag and stem above stay short. Three of them curl the lower end of that belly into a ball, and the heaviest of those tucks its ball deep inside the counter. One face ripples its flag like a ribbon and ends it in a second ball, while another sweeps the belly into a long pointed tail with no curl at all.
