About the Hash Sign design

Two uprights lean hard to the right while the pair of level bars stay dead flat, so the opening they trap in the middle is a leaning parallelogram rather than a square. Every slanted end is sheared off level with the ground instead of square to its own stroke, leaving four sharp little wedge tips at top and bottom. The upper crossbar reaches farther right than the lower one, and the whole grid drifts that way with it.
