About the Set Square design

A right triangle stands with its square corner at the bottom left, the two straight legs plain and heavy, and the inside hollow. The long diagonal carries four narrow slots spaced evenly down its length, each running square across the band, breaking the slope into five short segments like the graduations on a rule. Outside, every corner rounds off, so the sharp point at the top comes blunted.
