About the Thumbs Up design

The thumb rises as a long diagonal to a sharp peak, more the pitch of a steep roof than anything rounded, and it stands taller than the fist it grows from. That fist is one blunt slab with its lower right corner sliced away on a long slant, and no line at all marks off the fingers. A narrow upright opening sits at the left for the cuff, held off the hand by an even bar of steel running the full height.
