About the U Turn Arrow design

Two straight legs rise into a tall half round bend at the top, and the gap they leave is narrower than the arch is high, so the opening between them looks like a doorway with a rounded head. The right leg runs all the way to the bottom edge while the left stops well short of it, ending in a wide chevron whose barbs climb higher than the point where they meet. Both barbs are cut off flat rather than tapered to a spike.
