About the Yuan Sign design

Two arms fall from the top corners at a steep slant and close into a narrow vee a little above center, where a single stem carries straight on down to the bottom edge. One horizontal bar runs under that vee, reaching out past both arms to squared ends. Those arms are the longest runs of steel in the design, and the stem under the bar is noticeably shorter than either of them, so the shape sits top heavy with a stubby base.
