About the Art Deco Letter J design
This J rises on a tall stem and lets the bottom curve change character from face to face, from a hairline hook to a blunt stub. One face is a rounded block with a narrow white stripe running down inside its right edge, and another splits the whole stem into twin thin lines under a tilted top bar. The widest face turns the letter into a broad bracket, its bowed top stretching the full width over a shallow scooped bowl.
