About the Art Deco Letter Z design
Here the Z hangs almost all its weight on the diagonal, which slants down like a leaning black wedge while in most faces the top and bottom bars thin to hairlines. Two faces slice a narrow white slit down that diagonal, splitting it like a pair of rails. Others hook small spurs off the ends of the bars, and one drops the contrast entirely for a single thin line with curled tips. The widest face bends its diagonal into a gentle curve between blunt, squared bar ends.
