About the Art Deco Number 3 design
This three trades a rounded top for a flat bar and a sharp diagonal in most faces, then drops into a single swelling lower bowl. One version splits straight down the center, with a thin hairline on the left and solid black on the right, like a half moon. Two others shadow the bowl with a slender crescent traced just outside it. At the far extreme, one face squares the whole number off into three flat bars on an upright spine.
